Sarafina Galfano

Sarafina is a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist through the state of North Carolina since 2015, and became a Certified Lymphatic Therapist through Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy in 2018. Using a variety of different techniques, she finds great joy in using her Therapeutic Bodywork skills to help her clients feel less pain, and more at home in their bodies. She was first drawn to Lymphatic Massage when a family member was diagnosed with breast cancer, and has witnessed how incredibly impactful this gentle modality can be for the body.

Sarafina has spent most of her life in the Chapel Hill - Carrboro - Pittsboro area of North Carolina. She loves to visit the ocean, and finds deep wisdom and beauty in the state's mountains. In addition to bodywork, Sarafina loves creating art of many kinds, enjoys the meditative nature of singing her heart out, reading fiction (especially mysteries!), and shares a love of cooking with her husband, Francis. A cuddle from her cat, Winston, is always welcome in her life.

Francis Gayek

Francis is a Registered Craniosacral Therapist (RCST®) through the Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy Association of North America, and a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (LMBT) through the State of North Carolina. He was drawn to Craniosacral Therapy for its gentle approach to supporting our bodies in finding a state of rest and balance - one that has profound implications for our overall health and wellbeing. Francis has observed again and again, both in his clients and himself, that when our nervous systems experience physiological safety we can relate to our environment with greater ease, compassion, creativity, and joy.

A native of Yellow Springs, Ohio, Francis has lived in the Triangle area since 2009. He loves North Carolina for many reasons, but near the top of the list are its mountains, rivers, trees, beaches, and especially the vegetable /pollinator garden in his front yard. He has a love of being in nature, music, art, and cooking (and eating!) delicious food. Francis finds great joy in helping people develop a greater sense of peace, calm, and resiliency within themselves.
